Bakasura's attack speed increases by 4% for each enemy that he kills. The buff lasts for 10 seconds and can stack up to 5 times.
Take Down (1)
Bakasura leaps to his ground target location, doing 100/160/220/280/340 (+60% of your physical power) physical damage to all enemies in the area and reducing their damage done by 30% for 3 seconds. Cost - 60/65/70/75/80 mana. Cooldown - 12s.
Eat Minion (2)
Bakasura grabs a minion and devours it, healing himself for 125/175/225/275/325 (+100% of your physical power) and gaining a 15/20/25/30/35% movement speed buff for 6 seconds. Buff wielding minions must be at 33% health to be consumed. Up to 6 minions are stored for Regurgitate. Cost - 75 mana. Cooldown - 15/14/13/12/11s.
Butcher Blades (3)
Bakasura passively gains 10/15/20/25/30 physical power. When activated, he gains an additional 15/30/45/60/75 true damage on each strike for 6 seconds. Cost - 60/65/70/75/80 mana. Cooldown - 14s.
Bakasura exposes his head, regurgitating all of the minions consumed by his Consume Minion ability at his ground target location that slows enemy players by 15/20/25/30/35%. Bakasura's basic attacks become cone attacks for 6 seconds. Cost - 80/90/100/110/120 mana. Cooldown - 90s.
The great devourer is gobbling up other Junglers since Mid Season. The item and meta changes have pushed him much further up than expected, causing Baka to put up some top stats even after his recent buffs were reverted. In this update we are nerfing his passive, which is a key factor in making him one of the fastest Jungle farmers in the game. His ultimate is already getting a slight nerf in its area control, to give enemies a better chance of escaping his chomping jaws.
Bakasura has been eating well after his changes and the buffs to his supporting items. He was struggling before the Golden Blade buff, but with its cheaper cost and addition of items like Serrated Blade and Atalanta's Bow he ended up not needing this adjustment. We are reverting it. This revert plus the nerfs to his core items should slow down Baka sufficiently.
Decreased Heal Physical Power Scaling from 85% to 70%.
Decreased Protections gained from 10/18/26/34/42 to 10/15/20/25/30.
The Great Devourer has been hungry for some buffs! Eat Minion will now be a whole 15% more filling and provide some stronger protections in the late game. This survivability should compliment the unique way Bakasura can use some of the new items to create quite the formidable foe.
Increased Physical Power Scaling on the self heal from 70% to 85%.
Increased Protections from 10/15/20/25/30 to 10/18/26/34/42.
Bakasura can be difficult to shut down when he gets going, especially during his Regurgitate. The duration he can chomp through his opponents as well as the duration of his CC Immunity allows him to really pressure opponents with a large window.
We are reducing these durations to allow co-ordinated teams more opportunity to counter his hyper carry abilities.
Since Midseason Bakasura has been climbing in popularity and performance. We resolved a lot of clunkiness and gameplay flow issues and since then his Insatiable Hunger for enemies has been hard to stop.
His passive really allows him to control the pace of the jungle and teamfights, making him difficult to oppose. With a 6% reduction, opposing junglers and carries will have a stronger opportunity to catch Bakasura out of position.
Fixed an issue where Bakasura could eat deployables he shouldn't be able to eat.
Decreased Bonus Attack Speed and Movement Speed from 10% per stack to 8% per stack. (30% max to 24% max)
Fixed an issue where Take Down debuff would display confusing damage calculations in the combat log.
We are continuing a pass on shorter gods to make their camera heights match default gods. This can have a significant impact on visibility and feel for these gods. There are still more camera height adjustments to come so this won't be the last patch you see this type of note. Also it should be known that we will not be decreasing the camera height of tall gods. Tall gods need that extra height to make sure they can see the battlefield.
Bakasura is also undergoing a large amount of tweaks. While his abilities largely function the same, we have focused on increasing the synergy between his own kit. Additionally we are giving him additional tools to let him contribute to his team and fight more effectively when away from minions.
This ability no longer decreases Physical protection of enemies hit by it.
This ability now causes enemies hit by it to take 10% increased Damage from all sources.
Decreased Post-fire animation time from .7s to .2s.
This ability now places an additional targeter over targets that can be instantly devoured.
Increase Projectile Speed from 80 to 120.
Bakasura may now choose to eat his own minion pets from this ability. Gross.
Bakasura is seeing targeted changes to help him feel like chore oriented in the jungle (by needing to eat minions on cooldown, or he risks not having enough minions for his ultimate) while also giving him access to his more utility based ultimate more often.
By being able to get 2 Stacks of Minions by eating a large monster, Bakasura can prioritize ganking and invading more effectively rather than needing to be by a Minion every time Eat Minion comes up.
Additionally, with extra Minions comes bonus utility when it comes to taking objectives or pushing towers (as well as additional confusion when he ults, which also now happens more often).
Large monsters that can only be eaten at 33% will provide 2 Minions toward Regurgitate.
Bakasura can be a strong boxer and Jungler, but he often struggles to get his Damage onto his enemy in the mid and late game. Regurgitate now applies a Slow that persists on his enemies giving him better chase potential during his Ultimate on enemies he successfully “threw up” on.
Increased Slow from 15/20/25/30/35% -> 20/25/30/35/40%.
Changed Slow duration to be 4s instead of applying only in the area.
