For every 1 ft traveled, Mercury gains a 0.1% physical power bonus on his next basic attack (max 50%). Mercury also gains additional physical power equal to 20% of movement speed from items.
Made You Look
Mercury moves in the blink of an eye, dealing one melee attack to every enemy within the target area. Each hit is considered a basic attack, may trigger item effects, and can critical hit. Damage: 70/100/130/160/190 (+50% of your physical power). Range: 55ft. Radius: 5/7.5/10/12.5/15ft. Cost: 50. Cooldown: 8.
Maximum Velocity
Mercury increases his attack speed, ignoring slow and root effects for the duration. Attack Speed: 30/40/50/60/70. Duration: 3/3.5/4/4.5/5s. Cost: 60/65/70/75/80. Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14s.
Special Delivery
Mercury dashes forward, knocking aside minions, grabbing the first enemy god he encounters and spinning them. The enemy god takes damage until the effect ends, and Mercury throws the god in the direction of his choosing. Minion Damage: 70/115/160/205/250 (+60% of your physical power). Damage per Tick: 10/15/20/25/30 (+15% of your physical power). Duration: 1s. Damage Interval: 0.25s. Cost: 70/75/80/85/90. Cooldown: 15s.
Sonic Boom
Mercury gathers energy for a powerful dash, with the range extending as he does so (max 500ft). He travels the distance faster than the speed of sound, dealing damage to all enemies, disorienting them and spinning them around in a random direction. Damage: 200/275/350/425/500 (+120% of your physical power). Disorient Duration: 1s. Cost: 80/90/100/110/120. Cooldown: 90s.
Mercury and Golden Blade quickly became best friends, allowing Mercury to quickly clear any jungle camps with ease and dealing some heavy splash damage.
While we feel Golden Blade is relatively balance when used with normal Basic Attacks, the interaction with Made You Look has proven to be too strong.
With this interaction existing Mercury either needs to rely on Golden Blade or Golden Blade needs to be weak enough that it really is only usable with Mercury.
Rather than overnerf Golden Blade, Made You Look is getting a tweak in how it functions. While it can still Crit, it will no longer trigger Basic Attack items and will now proc Ability item effects.
In a previous patch we increased the cooldown of Made You Look to help keep his clear speed with Golden Blade in check, but with this change we can reduce the cooldown back to 8s.

This ability is now considered an Ability for the purposes of item effects.
Since the return of Golden Bow (Golden Blade), Mercury has been quickly rising to the top of the meta. Mercury's ability to move and clear quickly feel core to his themes,
but his one shot damage can be frustratingly high. We are decreasing the power boost he can gain from his passive ability for now. We will surely be keeping a close eye on this god going forward,
and there will likely be more adjustments in future patches.
Fastest God Alive
Reduced Power charged per passive stack from 0.1 to 0.08 (50% physical power increase down to 40% physical power increase).
Golden Blade has taken Mercury from a strong pick to a top pick. He is one of the strongest gods in the game at all levels of play.
Even though Golden Blade is enabling his power, we want to be careful adjusting that item. Many off-meta struggling gods are using Golden Blade to reach new levels of success.
The item passive was recently brought back with a positive reception. We don't want to hurt all of those other applications just because one god overperforms with the item.
We will be looking at the interactions of Golden Blade and Made You Look in the future, but for now we will be increasing the cooldown of Mercury's primary damaging ability. His clear will still be strong but he will need to pace himself more carefully with this ability. Two seconds on a big damage ability can make a big difference, and should bring Mercury down a notch without limiting the good pool in other places.
Mercury both excelled at early game clear speed and late game carry potential, causing him to really run up the ranks. We are reducing the base damage for the early ranks of Made You Look to keep his clear speed more in line with his late game potential.

The Fastest God Alive will finally regain his title! Mercury has had a wild ride over the seasons of Smite, but his theme and playstyle should obviously include more Movement Speed related perks.

Maximum Velocity
Maximum Velocity now cleanses Slow and makes the player immune to Slows for the duration.
Mercury is a character who excels in situations where he can get in and box his opponents or isolate them into 1 on 1 scenarios. By increasing Maximum Velocity's duration in his early ranks as well as making Special Delivery pack more of a punch in late game scenarios, Mercury will be better equipped in these favorable scenarios

Mercury players who use Fastest God Alive to its fullest often see themselves landing very powerful in-hands out of their Ultimates or when ganking. We like this playstyle and how it forces people to go just far enough with their Ultimate so they can turn around and punch the god with a powerful hit. Because of this we have chosen to up the payoff potential of this Passive.

Increased maximum damage bonus for distance travelled from 50% -> 75%.
Now applies damage to all targets instantaneously. Note: This means golden bow will now only proc once per enemy hit by the ability, rather than a potentially unlimited number of times.
Special Delivery
Fixed an issue where targets would continue to be tossed if Mercury was silenced while spinning around the target.
Sonic Boom
Reduced physical damage scaling from 120% to 100%.
