  • Each time Hera deals damage to gods with her Abilities or Basic Attacks while Argus is inactive, Argus' cooldown is reduced.   • Royal Assault

  • Hera damages enemies in a cone in front of her before opening a portal for Argus to attack through. Enemy minions hit by this cone are knocked into Argus' path. Argus then slams his fists at the target location dealing heavy damage. If both of his fists connects with an enemy, it deals 15% extra damage.   • Hera weaves magic in front of her before sending it out. Enemies hit by this ability take damage. If this ability hits a god it causes their form to shift into a monster.   • Divine Shroud

  • Hera shrouds herself in her divine power, granting her a shield from damage and temporary movement speed that lasts as long as the shield remains. If Argus is active, Argus shines with the same Divine power as Hera, causing him to deal radiant damage and move at an increased rate. Ability: Shield and Buff Affects: Self Shield Health: 50/100/150/200/250 +15 per Hera's Level Shield Duration: 5s Movement Speed: 15% Argus Aura Damage: 7/11/15/19/23 (+7.5% of your Magical Power) Argus Speed: 50% Cooldown: 16s Cost: 45/50/55/60/65
  • Argus, the Defender

  • Hera brings Argus crashing down at a location, damaging and knocking up enemies. On landing Argus will attack the nearest target. Hera can control where Argus moves through refiring this ability onto an enemy or if he has a target, to recall him. While recalled Argus will defend Hera and attack anyone that gets close. Argus has a hit chain that starts with a normal basic attack, into a ground circle AoE slowing enemies by 20% for 1s, into a line attack.   • The Queen of the Gods has become the Queen of the Mid Lane. Hera, and Argus, bring some unique utility to the Mid role, while also having high damage and strong CC. Hera is surprisingly hard to gank for a goddess with no mobility. This is an expected result of her strong self peel, but it can also be directly balanced through adjustments to her shielding ability. We are bringing that level scaling number down to put Hera players in a bit more danger throughout the match.

  • The Queen of the Gods is not going to sit idly by as a new queen enters the fray. Hera has moments of strength throughout the game but her early game is inconsistent. Polymorph's early damage is being increased to assist in both clear and harassment of other Gods.

  • When the Queen of the Gods makes an entrance she goes all out, and the same can be said about her companion Argus. After Hera's initial buffs she has settled into a consistent spot in the meta. She brings a quite high ban rate and she does a lot to disrupt enemies in team fights. Her kit was designed to synergize with Argus and help him be active often, but the low base cooldown of the ability was causing a lot of frustration. Argus will still be on a lower cooldown than most Ultimates if the Hera plays well, but this effect will be less extreme than before.

  • Hera has graced the battleground with her presence and has been creating a great amount of community discussion. We specifically intended to avoid an OP release with Hera.
  • It seems we succeeded but we went too far, and she is clearly undertuned.
  • Hera's focus going forward will be her control. As a divine leader, she has influence over others. We will be looking to buff parts of her kit that align with this theme,
  • while also adding a few damage increases to bring her in line with other mages.
  • Fixed an issue where Hera's ultimate could go on cooldown without summoning Argus if she was interrupted at a specific time.
  • Fixed an issue where her ability 1 visuals would sometimes play more times than intended on a single fire.
  • Fixed missing Hera God description in the About section.

  • Increased Crash Landing Damage scaling from 35% to 55% Magical Power.
