Anhur's spear attacks reduce the enemy targets' physical power by 20% for 3 seconds.
Shifting Sands
Anhur erects an obelisk from the ground, blocking player movement for 7 seconds. The surrounding sands slow enemies by 20/25/30/35/40% and increase the damage of Anhur's basic attacks by 4/8/12/16/20%. Cost - 60/65/70/75/80 mana. Cooldown 14s.
Impale
Anhur hurls his spear with great might. If the spear hits a god, they take 90/155/220/285/350 (+80% of your physical power) physical damage and are knocked back. Gods hitting a wall are stunned for 2 seconds. The spear passes through minions, doing damage to them as well. Cost 70/75/80/85/90 mana. Cooldown 12s.
Disperse
Anhur leaps to his ground target location, doing 50/90/130/170/210 (+50% of your physical power) physical damage and knocking back all enemies in the radius. Cost - 60/65/70/75/80 mana. Cooldown 13s.
Desert Fury
Summoning the fury of the desert, Anhur hunkers down and throws 8 empowered spears that pass through everything, doing 75/95/11/135/155 (+15% of your physical power) physical damage to all enemies in their path. He is immune to knockback for the duration. Cost - 80/90/100/110/120 mana. Cooldown 90s.
This Lion certainly won’t be cowardly next update. Anhur tends to stay low win-rate, even when pros are happy to pick him up in certain metas. One thing we have been hearing is that his movement ability feels a bit old and outdated. We are speeding this up to help it feel up to today’s standards
Disperse
Decreased setup time from 0.275s to 0.15s
Decreased leap time from 0.975s to 0.85s.
His leap is now quicker and he starts leaping more quickly
Anhur is receiving a mixture of real buffs and Quality of Life buffs. Shifting Sands is gaining increased range and increased bonus damage, providing Anhur with new opportunities and a strong increase to his early boxing potential. Impale is receiving a small prefire adjustment to better line up with his animation and Desert Fury will now display a targeter while firing, helping Anhur players line up their shots.
Shifting Sands
Increase Damage Buff from 4/8/12/16/20% to 8/11/14/17/20%.
Increased Range from 65 to 70.
Impale
Reduced prefire time from 0.2 to 0.17 to better match its animation.
Anhur's ultimate has a hard time outpacing normal hunter basic attack damage. We want to mitigate this scenario that feels like a lose/lose and help him feel like he has a true ultimate ability. Desert Fury is getting a significant late game damage boost to make sure Anhur has the ability to finish off enemies.
Desert Fury
Increase base damage from 60/85/110/135/160 to 70/95/120/145/170.
Anhur is an aggressive hunter who has been underperforming in the competitive and casual scene for some time. We are increasing the reward for being aggressive with Disperse and letting him threaten his opponents with Desert Fury more often.
Disperse
Increased Damage from 50/90/130/170/210 -> 70/110/150/190/230.
While our fix to Impale in 3.3 helped out, Anhur still is struggling to find his footing. This patch we're reducing slightly the cost of his clear, while also improving the benefit of his passive.
Enfeeble
Increased physical protection debuff from 15 -> 20.
Impale
Decreased Mana cost from 70/80/90/100/110 -> 70/75/80/85/90.
It's been a little while since Anhur had some love. We wanted it to be more rewarding to land all eight hits of Desert Fury, and adding 5% scaling per hit should allow this ability to feel more potent when used effectively.
Desert Fury
Increased Physical Power scaling for 15% -> 20% per shot.
