After hitting with 4 basic attacks, Agni will gain a buff. On next cast of Flame Wave or Rain Fire, all enemies hit by those abilities will be additionally set ablaze, taking 5 (+10% of your magical power) magical damage every .5 for 3s.
Noxious Fumes
Agni Summons a cloud of noxious fumes at his ground target location, doing 10/20/30/40/50 (+5% of your magical power) magical damage every second for 10s. Firing any of Agni's abilities into the fumes detonates the gas, stunning all enemies within the radius for 2s. Cost - 60/70/80/100 mana. Cooldown 15s.
Flame Wave
Agni summons a wave of fire in front of him that scorches all enemies in its path for 80/120/160/200/240 (+40% of your magical power) magical damage. Ignites Noxious Fumes. Cost - 60/70/80/90/100 mana. Cooldown - 14s.
Path of Flames
Agni blazes a path forward in a quick dash, leaving flames trailing behind him that persist for 4s. Any enemies passing through the flames catch fire and burn for 25/35/45/55/65 (+15% of your magical power) magical damage for .5 for 2s. Ignites noxious fumes. Cost 70/75/80/85/90 mana. Cooldown - 15s.
Rain Fire
Every 20 seconds, Agni gains a flaming halo, storing up to 3. Agni can expend a halo to summon a giant meteor at his ground target location, doing 175/215/255/295/335 (+60% of your magical power) magical damage. He can summon 1 every .5 seconds. Ignites Noxious Fumes. Cooldown is dependent on available halo's.
Agni has been slowly climbing as a strong meta pick, really finding success through his early pressure at Level 5 and strong late game scaling. We want to introduce more counterplay when he hits Level 5 but still highlight his late game power. Rain Fire is seeing an early game Base damage nerf, but will still scale to the same Late Game power.
Fixed an issue where the active duration of Flame Wave was not correct while using the Abyssal Acolyte skin.
Rain Fire
Decreased damage from 160/195/230/265/300 to 140/180/220/260/300.
Noxious Fumes is an ability that many players avoid levelling up, as the increased Mana Cost was not worth it because it rarely deals very many ticks of damage. We are bringing down the high end cost to make sure it is a better strategy to rank this skill up.
Noxious Fumes
Decreased mana cost from 60/70/80/90/100 to 60/65/70/75/80.
Agni is getting a buff! In metas past, he often served as a mid-tier Mage who wasn't the best or worst pick. In Season 4 however, he has failed to pull himself out of the bottom half of the god pool at any time. Items and meta shifts constantly move Gods balance points, and Agni has suffered from the changes this Season. When used well, his passive contributes a lot of Damage during a game, but requires Basic Attacks to charge it up. Agni's Attack Speed per level was quite low compared to other Mages with Basic Attack Passives, so we hope to speed this up both to match other Mages and help him activate his Passive more often. Rain Fire is also going to be hitting harder and more often. Agni's late game is largely around poking out his enemies while looking for a chance to commit off a Meteor stun. Allowing this to happen more often and be more punishing will give Agni the tool he needs to feel impactful, especially when combined with his passive bonus damage.
Increased Attack Speed per level from .95 to 1.2.
Rain Fire
Increased Magical Power Scaling from 60% to 70% per Meteor.
Agni's Flame Wave can combo into Noxious Fumes, but for many players, this combo was inconsistent or at worst impossible to execute. With this change, executing this combo will be much easier, especially in high ping situations.
Flame Wave
Increased persist time of Flame Wave from .5 -> 1s.
Agni is seeing a nice adjustment up in his base attack speed. With this change stacking his passive should be less cumbersome and happen more often, especially in the early game.
Increased base Attack Speed from 0.86 to 1.
Decreased % increase of Attack Speed per level from 1.01 to 0.95.
Buff icons removed for the Ultimate (since the need for these were eliminated by the new passive meter).
Fixed an issue with his run speed not updating on the HUD.
Fixed a minor FX issue with the Incinerator skin.
Rain Fire
Switched this ability to no longer use Continuous Fire. In Quick Cast mode, left clicks occurring a short time after a meteor is cast will no longer fire another one, instead always firing basic attacks. In standard targeting mode, clicking and holding the mouse will no longer fire multiple meteors uninterrupted if they are available.
Re-fixed the issue with not animating for every shot.
Volcanic skin will still have the issue in Solo Practice matches.
The warmup hit area indicator FX now shows 0.5s earlier for both friendly and enemy players. Note: The warm up did not get longer, the FX are visible earlier (more warning).
