Da Ji's sharp claws cause her enemies to Bleed when struck by her Basic Attacks.
Bleed Damage causes the enemy to take Damage every 1s for 2s and can stack any number of times on the same target.
Horrible Burns
Da Ji heats up her claws, causing her next successfully hit Basic Attack to Burn the target, dealing instant Bonus Damage and additional Damage every 1s for 3s.
One Thousand Cuts
Da Ji lashes out with her claws at nearby enemies. Executing 4 strikes over 2s that hit all enemies in range. These hits apply the Bleed from Torture Blades.
While this ability is channeling, Da Ji gains increased Movement Speed, immunity to Slows, and her tails mitigate Damage dealt to her by enemies who are behind her.
Spirit Link
Da Ji selects a single allied or enemy target and Teleports to their location.
Upon arriving at the target, she lashes out with her claws, dealing Damage and applying the Bleed from Torture Blades to all enemies around her.
Pao Lao
Da Ji summons her signature torture device, the Pao Lao. As she hovers above the device, she gets 3 shots to fire chains at enemies below.
Enemy gods hit by the shots take Damage, become Chained, and become Slowed. At the end of her ability, Chained enemies are Pulled to the Pao Loa,
becoming Stunned and then taking additional Damage of 3 ticks over 2s. If a god hit by this Ability becomes CC immune at any time, they break the Chain on them.
This change is a long time coming. It was discussed with Olympians at the Season 6 Summit, but Da Ji’s meta position was too high for a change. Currently, this ability has some very interesting per rank scaling that causes it to feel bad in the early game. We are increasing the rank 1 damage considerably, while decreasing the per rank increase and the late game base damage. This change is intended to be a buff so that base damage loss is being compensated with a Physical Scaling Buff.

Da Ji provides a large amount of burst on a relatively low cooldown, allowing her to regularly jump on the backline with a lot of success. We are reducing the burst provided by Trickster Spirit and increasing the cooldown of Horrible Burns, giving players more chance to react to the nine-tailed fox.

Increased Cooldown from 7s to 9s.
Trickster Spirit
Decreased Physical Power Scaling from 100% to 85%.
This targeter is small but with long range and could often get lost in the midst of combat. We are tweaking this visual effect to help Da Ji players choose the targets they intend to.
Pao Lao
Made adjustments to the targeter so it is more visible while on the Pao Lao.
The Nine-Tailed Fox received some buffs recently that have put her over the top. The current meta and itemization especially favor her bursty style, so we are decreasing the power scaling on two key abilities. This should lead Da Ji to feel more counterable by decreasing her one shot potential.
Torture Blades
Decreased Physical Power Scaling from 20% to 14% (10% to 7% per tick).
Horrible Burns
Decreased Physical Power scaling on Burst Damage from 45% to 35%.
Da Ji getting some improvements to both her stats and her overall playstyle this patch. Since her release Da Ji has struggled to make her mark as an Assassin in both casual and competitive games. We are focused on changes that better enable her to get into a fight and apply her burns and bleeds. First, Da Ji's Basic Attacks are seeing significant changes. They now are a standard Basic Attack with no unique timing or damage adjustments and have updated animations that better match when she is hitting an enemy. Horrible Burns is also receiving Haste, allowing her to Basic Attack without movement penalty while it is active. Weaving Basic Attacks and Horrible Burns should be smoother with these adjustments. Da Ji also has an interesting playstyle, looking to quickly get into a fight before using Paolao to get above the fight and pick off targets. We are increasing her Base Health to help he get into the thick of a fight while increasing the casting speed of the Paolao chains, allowing her to more consistently hit enemies.
Base Health Increased from 425 to 440.
Base Health Per Level Increased from 74 to 76.
Da Ji's Basic Attack chain and animations have been updated.
Basic Attack Hit Chain is now 1/1/1 timing and damage. Each hit has a unique animation.
Horrible Burns
Da Ji now benefits from Haste (does not suffer Basic Attack movement penalty) while Horrible Burns is active.
Paolao
Decreased chain travel time from .5 to .3 seconds.
Da Ji has not been torturing her opponents as much as she would like. While her burst potential could be high, it was difficult to confirm her Damage and effectively chase targets.
We are increasing her overall Damage, giving Horrible Burns a scaling Slow, and giving One Thousand Cuts Knock-Up immunity to help her get in and effectively fight.
We also made a few updates targeted at improving her overall flow, such as removing the post-fire time on Trickster Spirit and allowing players to cancel from the Paolao early.
