This elegant goddess brings a unique play style to SMITE, and a unique role flexibility. Chang'e has alternated back and forth over the years between damage and frontline builds. As her stats have dropped a bit, we are looking to bring her back with a damage buff through power scaling, to make sure those aggressive Chang'e players out there can impact a fight.
Chang'e underwent some nerfs in the middle of Season 5 focused around her poke potential and her teamfight damage. Since then a lot has chang'ed and her strengths have been less pronounced. We are giving her access to more early game mana and wave clear to help her find a position in the meta.
Increased Base Mana from 290 to 310.
Increased Base Mana Per Level from 43 to 48.
Moonflower Dance
Increased damage from 65/90/115/140/165 to 85/110/135/160/185.
Chang'e has really risen in power as players value her pressure, anti-healing, and teamfight ultimate, especially in the Pro League. While it's great to see her succeeding her overall performance is on the high end. We are increasing the cooldown on Crescent Moon Dance and bringing down the base damage of Waxing Moon. Players will have more opportunity to aggress without getting poked back while Waxing Moon will be a little less damaging when thrown out.

Increased Cooldown from 5s to 6s.
Waxing Moon
Decreased Ult Damage from 160/235/310/385/460 to 160/225/290/355/420.
Chang'e has danced her way into Conquest during Season 4. Her ability to be flexible in her role and her strong constant damage output has been a large factor in her seeing very successful play. Moonlit Waltz and Moonflower Dance are seeing an increase in Cooldown to give enemy players a better chance at locking her down.
Moonlit Waltz
Increased Cooldowns from 20/18/16/14/12 -> 20/18.5/17/15.5/14.
Like other healers, there is a large focus on adjusting the strength of healing and compensating them elsewhere. Moonflower Dance's heal now has less heal scaling but more damage scaling, better rewarding Chang'e when she can be aggressive. Moonlit Waltz is now instant which cleans up some edge cases and the Jade Rabbit is much quicker at getting back to Chang'e, letting her have better access to potion and item runs especially in Conquest.
Jade Rabbit
Increase Speed to run to Base from 1.7x Player's Speed -> 3.5x Player's Speed, decreasing trip time from ~44s -> ~34s with Boots in Mid Lane.
Moonlit Waltz
Decreased setup time .1s -> 0s.
Moonflower Dance
Decreased Magical Power Scaling on Heal from 40% -> 30%.
Increased Magical Power Scaling on Damage from 30% -> 50%.
Chang'e is seeing a base damage and healing increase to Moonflower Dance. These two changes should allow her to provide more pressure in the early laning phase where we see her struggle most.
Moonflower Dance
Healing increased from 40/60/80/100/120 to 50/70/90/110/130.
Damage increased from 50/75/100/125/150 to 65/90/115/140/165.
Fixed the rabbit getting stuck near the Phoenix in Joust.
Fixed an issue in which some of her Recommended Items were not properly referencing the highest ranks whereas Sprint and Meditation were incorrectly using the highest ranks.
No longer gains magical protection with each level, to be consistent with other mages.
Moonlit Waltz
Reduced the invulnerability duration and fire time by 0.2s on the tail end.
Moonflower Dance
Reduced damage and healing from 50/80/110/140/170 to 50/75/100/125/150.
