Baron Samedi animates two skulls, both which briefly charge before firing beams of voodoo magic that damages enemies. The beams meet at a crossroads of Baron Samedi's choosing. Enemies hit by both beams take 15% damage on the second hit.

Baron Samedi guides restless spirits to the ground and buries them. After a brief delay the ground erupts, damaging enemies standing in the area. If an enemy god is hit, friendly spirits fly the from the area and heal allies near the explosion or by Baron Samedi.
If the enemy god hit is above 30 Hysteria the friendly spirit cleanses slows, makes allies immune to slows, and increases their Movement Speed.

Baron Samedi throws his snake forward, wrapping any enemy god hit and dealing damage every .5s for 4s and slowing them until they are rooted.
If a god hit is above 30 Hysteria, the snake will also lash out at nearby enemy gods who stand too close after 1s. Enemies hit by this are injected with venom that slows them until they are rooted and deals the same damage but instantly rather than over 4s.

Life of the Party
Baron Samedi pulls the souls of the living towards his Coffin, becoming CC Immune and taking 50% reduced damage. Enemy gods within range are pulled towards the Coffin and take damage every .33s. When an enemy god gets too close to the coffin their soul is ripped out, causing them to be stunned, take a large amount of damage based on their total health and gain max Hysteria. This ability persists for 3.5s or until an enemy god is pulled to the coffin.
If targets being pulled are above 30 Hysteria, the pull strength is increased on them.

The party is going to keep on going until Baron can successfully play the Mid Lane. Some recent small damage buffs have moved him in the right direction, but he’s not quite there. There are still a lot of incentives to build him hybrid or tanky, so we are looking to increase the Power Scaling on his primary damaging ability.
Baron Samedi is helping to kick off the mid season celebration in style. Baron Samedi often flexes between Mage and Support without really excelling in either. Today we more clearly align his strengths with that of a Mage, allowing him to bring those supportive qualities as a bonus. A damage boost on Vivid Gaze and Wrap it up will make his combo that much more deadly.

Fixed an issue where he could do unintended amounts of damage if Khepri revived him while firing Life of the Party.
This god just will not stop partying. Baron is high priority in pro league and his performance statistics in normal and ranked modes is still top of the line. To bring him down a bit further we are increasing the cooldown of Wrap it up. This ability enables all his others and provides high combo potential, so this change should have a measurable effect.
Baron Samedi is in a much healthier place after his damage adjustments which moved his performance more in line with the rest of the gods on the battleground. However, Life of the Party is still creating some scenarios where there is little counterplay available to his enemies. We are bringing the Hysteria generated by this ability down while further slowing Baron Samedi during his channel. Enemies should be pulled more slowly and have more opportunity to create distance to escape Baron's grasp.

Decreased Hysteria per hit from 8 to 5.
Increased self slow while casting from 40% to 60%.
A few nerfs were not enough to stop Baron Samedi's party. While the changes in 5.12 now have him functioning as intended and brought his overall performance down, he is still outperforming most other characters especially in damage. In this patch we are focused on reducing his overall damage to really let his utility be the star of his kit.
The skull that appears to show a player is affected by Hysteria has now been offset to help players see while affected.
Damage decreased from 80/130/180/230/280 to 60/105/150/195/240.
Scaling decreased from 70% to 60%.
Decreased Heal from +15% of a target's missing health to 12.5%.
Wrap It Up
Changed Slow to Root to a new CC term, Ramp to Root. The ramp up to the root is considered a root for all CC immunity purposes and if it is cleansed it will result in the full root not applying.
Decreased damage over time and Hysteria AoE duration from 4s to 2.5 to match the Ramp to Root FX.
This causes the overall damage this ability deals to go from 80/144/208/272/336 (+40% of your Magical Power) to 50/90/130/170/210 (+25% of your Magical Power).
Baron Samedi arrived to the party in a grand fashion! We are specifically looking to bring down the amount of damage he is dealing through Vivid Gaze and when Life of the Party connects. Combined with a few other bug fixes that will also lower his damage output (such as not gaining 10% Magical Power while consuming his Brew) he will rely more on the control he brings to the fight than his currently high burst. We will continue to watch his performance after these nerfs to really get a feel for any future adjustments.
