Gaining Aphroditedds favor is a blessing in that 30% of all mana gained by Aphrodite is granted to her soul mate.
Aphrodite blows a kiss to an allied god, making them her soul mate and giving them both +4/8/12/16/20% movement speed. If the kiss hits an enemy god, they are stunned for 1s and Aphroditedds soul mate gets jealous, making them deal 4/8/12/16/20% increased damage for 8 seconds. Cost - 50/55/60/65/70. Cooldown - 16/15/14/13/12s.
Agitated by all the attention, Aphrodite commands enemies to get away from her, doing 90/160/230/300/370 (+60% of your magical power) magical damage around her and knocking them back. If Aphrodite has a soul mate, they get agitated instead, and the damage originates on them, dealing the same damage and slowing by 25% for 2s instead. Cost - 70/75/80/85/90. Cooldown - 12s.
Aphrodite calls forth a flock of beautiful doves that fly forward in the area in front of her. The doves circle around all enemies in the path, damaging enemies for 10/17/24/31/38 (+15% of your magical power) magical damage every .5s for 3s. Aphrodite and her soul mate are healed for 10/17/24/31/38 (+15% of your magical power) every .5s for 3s. Cost - 70/75/80/85/90. Cooldown - 16/15/14/13/12s.
Aphrodite pledges undying love to herself and her Soul Mate. While this is active, her and her Soul Mate are invulnerable to all damage for .8/1.1/1.4/1.7/2s. All crowd control effects are also removed when activated. Cost - 100. Cooldown - 90/85/80/75/70s.
The goddess of love is still breaking hearts. Aphrodite's powerful metrics have persisted through the last round of nerfs, so in this update we are addressing a key counterplay element of her kit. Undying love provides two players on the enemy team with complete damage and CC immunity, which can swing entire fights. The scaling cooldown combined with CDR builds makes Aphrodite too hard to punish, so we are keeping this cooldown at 90s at all ranks. Opponents of Aphrodite can now look to bait out her Ultimate or re-engage shortly after its use to confirm kills against her.

Aphrodite is turning heads at every level of play. Since her recent buffs she has quickly risen to the top of the charts in pick, ban, and win rates. She seems to be just as strong in casual Arena as she is in high ranked Conquest. Aphrodite’s balance point brings about a surprisingly controversial discussion about healers in SMITE. We still see comments every day about how Healing Reduction items are too strong and prevent gods like this from really entering the meta. We have been closely monitoring the situation and have found this to be objectively false. Healers like Aphrodite are extremely powerful even in the face of some of the toughest anti-healing items. Aphrodite is seeing a decrease to her healing numbers specifically, as well as some damage tuning. Now that she can clear waves more effectively she has become a much better Mid Laner, which we want to preserve. However, her clear domination of the stats and feedback has led us to these nerfs. Aphrodite brings strong utility and allows a hyper carry to play much more aggressively than normally possible. While a strong strength to have, Aphrodite players don’t feel that strength as directly and also makes her more team composition depended. We are reducing the cooldown on Kiss early and giving Love Birds an initial hit. These changes will give her better utility and damage for herself and will give Love Birds better feedback as to when an enemy was hit.

Many healers have found their way in and out of the Conquest Meta, yet Aphrodite has been stuck on the sideline. This Goddess has some of the highest healing potential in the game, and excels at keeping one hyper-carry alive even during the riskiest of fights. However, her laning phase was shaky at best. We are decreasing the cooldown of her primary clear tool, Love Birds, to help her reach mid game more easily. Back off is being changed to make sure the slow applies every time, fixing a visually confusing element of her kit. Kiss is also seeing significant buffs to its early ranks, making sure Aphrodite can help her team as soon as possible.

Aphrodite has become a top pick for the solo lane. Her healing hugely outpaces Guan Yu, Ra, Sylvanus, and Chang'e. Hel is the only one who can come close to her healing numbers. The Magical Power scaling on the Heal of Love Birds is being reduced to bring this into line with other gods. Aphrodite has great potential and has been used in pro game in many different ways. Her Back Off combo with an Assassin can deal insane burst damage and her ultimate can protect an ally from any situation. We like these unique applications but her healing, especially out of combat, was outpacing all of the competition.

Aphrodite's Kiss requires constant management. Players must balance the ability between kissing their allies to quickly heal or stunning enemies and take an increased cooldown. We want to help Aphrodite players have more control over a fight by allowing them to switch targets much more quickly, allowing Aphrodite to save allies just in time with heals or her ultimate and then quickly follow up by stunning an enemy.
Decreased Cooldown of this ability if you hit an ally from 3s to 1s.
We discovered an issue where Aphrodite has been sharing a lot more Mana Regeneration with Kiss than her description says she does. She has been performing in a solid spot and reducing this effect that players have been using would be a large nerf. We have instead decided to update the tooltip to the now correct value.
Updated the description of this ability to correctly indicate that Aphrodite shares 70% of all Mana regenerated by Aphrodite, not 30%.
While most healers and healing items saw a reduction in strength, Aphrodite is remaining largely untouched in that department. She has overall been struggling to make an impact and we wanted to help her rather than punish her for the reduced healing overall. She is receiving some small changes that should help the better fight in the lane and allow her to scale into a larger thread in the mid and late game.
Aphrodite is receiving a new Passive ability. Gods were considered for new passives based on community feedback and how the passive interacted with the kit. Her old passive only affected her Kiss ability, and has been relocated there. Her new Passive, Center of Attention, makes her increasingly harder to kill in large team fights, opening up her ability to support as a Mage. It also provides a unique bonus to her safety in that Aphrodite's stack number can alert her to enemies looking to gank her from the jungle.

Aphrodite gains 4 Physical Protections and 4 Magical Protections for each friendly and enemy god within 70 units of her. Stacks up to nine times.
The explosion for this ability now goes off at both Aphrodite and her target’s location. Any targets within the overlapping area are hit only once by the explosion originating from Aphrodite, applying Knockback but no Slow.
Updated the description to indicate that the knockback applied always pushes enemies back to a set distance away from her (25 ft).
